Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager

Rounak Langhe CFA is the founding partner and Chief Investment Officer of Durham Asset Management Inc. He has fourteen years of significant experience in portfolio construction, risk management and client relationship management. His area of expertise includes asset-liability management, credit market functions, structured product investments and fixed income product trading. Rounak has maintained first quartile performance throughout his investment management career.

In his last assignment at one of Canada’s largest mutual fund companies, Rounak was responsible for managing a $2.2 billion fixed income portfolio from 2013 to 2017. He was member of the asset allocation committee. Rounak began his investment career as a credit analyst at Aegon Capital Management (now Forester Asset Management). From 2003 to 2007 he was responsible for fundamental credit research analyzing Auto, infrastructure, telecommunication, and utility sectors. He also analyzed and made recommendations to invest in structure products such as CDOs, ABS and CMB. In 2007 Rounak was given additional responsibility for managing fixed income portfolios benchmarked relative to the DEX universe index and the DEX corporate bond index.

Rounak has an MBA from the Tippie School of Business, University of Iowa, Iowa City USA and a Bachelor of Science from Punjab University Chandigarh, India. He holds a Chartered Investment Manger designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
